D'Addario Europe Limited, established in 2017, manages the European sales and marketing for prestigious brands such as D’Addario Fretted, D’Addario Orchestral, D’Addario Woodwinds, Promark Drumsticks, Evans Drumheads, and Puresound Snare Wires. 

We’re looking for a Europe Orchestral Specialist to champion D’Addario’s orchestral string brands, building lasting relationships with leading musicians, luthiers, educators, and retailers — driving awareness, advocacy, and growth across the region. This person will represent D’Addario at the heart of Europe’s music scene — from concert halls and conservatoires to violin shops and industry events. Lastly, you will ensure D’Addario orchestral strings are understood, trusted, and played by musicians at every level. 

• Build and nurture networks with artists, luthiers, professors, retailers, and key industry influencers. 

• Plan and execute events such as trade shows, workshops, and string testing sessions to showcase our products. 

• Provide engaging product training to internal teams, distributors, retailers, and educators. 

• Gather and analyse market intelligence, including competitor activity, pricing, and emerging trends. 

• Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth execution of marketing, sales, and artist initiatives. 

• Based in Europe, with flexibility to travel regionally and internationally. 

• Strong understanding of the orchestral string market and community. 

• Fluency in at least one of the following languages: French, German, Italian, or Spanish 

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken 

• Proficiency in playing at least one string instrument (violin or viola preferable) 

• Interest in string instrument construction, maintenance, and string selection 

• Effective communication and presentation skills 

• Ability to connect with musicians and luthiers, fostering positive relationships

Contract Type: Permanent contract, 40 hours a week 

Job Location: Remote: Mainland Europe, with a preference for France, Germany, Austria, or Italy

Compensation: €42.000 - €45.000 + bonus based on personal goals, sales targets

License/Certification: Driving License required
